MUTLI ALARM FIRE IN WALL

On Thursday, July 7, 2016 at approximately 935am, a Box alarm was transmitted in Wall Twp for a reported structure fire at Taylor’s Towing13567527_680266735455495_3830676594898143069_n 5130 Hurley Pond Road. While enroute it was confirmed to be a working fire in a large 1 story commercial building. Deputy Chief Murray of District 2 took command and requested a second alarm immediately. First arriving units established a water supply went to work on the rear of the building knocking down a large amount of fire. Pictured below Glendola’s Engine273 and Truck 391

The fire went to 4 alarms due to the size of the building and the excessive heat. All members did an excellent job!

2015 Annual Turkey Bowl

The 2015 Annual Flag Football “Turkey Bowl” was held in Neptune this year on Saturday, November 28. It was a great game as always but Neptune pulled out the win by 2 scores! A great team effort by both teams and a fun tradition with our brothers. 12294621_581787205303449_5805573950886371609_n 12294765_581787675303402_2975533912194157939_n

Box Alarm in District 2

On October 23, 2015 around 1550hours a box alarm was transmitted in District 2 for a reportedleslie 2 structure fire. South Wall responded with 2 Engines and 2 Chiefs and assisted Glendola and West Belmar with fire suppression and searching the residence.

Since January 1, 2015 the three fire districts in Wall Township decided to enact the box alarm policy. The policy is, 24 hours a day for any reported structure fire all three fire districts will be dispatched automatically. So far all three Districts have worked great together and we look forward to growing together.
