South Wall responded to a reported kitchen fire in the Four Seasons development on 10/20/13. The fire was extinguished by Wall Police and confined to the oven. The residence was ventilated by members.

On 9/11/13 Both Chiefs and Engine 378 and crew responded to Liberty State Park to take part in a photo in front of the NYC skyline with the tribute lights where the Twin Towers stood.

South Wall Firefighters build the “Flags in the Field” memorial every year to remember those lose in 9/11/01. There are 343 flags that are put into the ground representing the 343 FDNY Firefighters lost on that day. We remember all those lost that day, especially from our area and those still suffering from working ground zero during the aftermath.
